2022 Brick-or-Treat at Legoland California

It’s back!! My kids love Legoland and I’m so excited for Brick or Treat this year!

Park guests received an early Halloween “treat” as LEGO® Monsters began to arrive for LEGOLAND® California Resort’s Halloween celebration, Brick-or-Treat presents Monster Party. Witches, ghouls, and vampires made their way to the entrance of the family theme park to join LEGO® Zombie Cheerleader and Monster Rocker just in time to boogie down as the Park transforms into the ultimate children’s Halloween celebration. Beginning Sept. 17, families are encouraged to grab their festive costumes and join in on the fun!

In addition to the new LEGO® characters, Brick-or-Treat features the debut of the all-new 4D movie “The Great Monster Chase,” a kid-friendly scare trail, elaborate décor, LEGO building activities, new entertainment and treat stations. For even more electrifying excitement, the Park’s signature roller coaster has been transformed into the Disco Dragon Coaster with a groovy soundtrack and festive decorations.

Brick-or-Treat is included in a general admission ticket and select annual passes. The Halloween festivities begin Saturday, Sept. 17, and continue every Saturday through Oct. 29 and Sunday, Oct. 30. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit www.legoland.com/california.

Netflix presents – NIGHTBOOKS (Hooray for Halloween Season!)

I am super excited about this new movie from Netflix. It is a little spooky, so it may not be suitable for your littlest littles.

That’s when an evil witch (Krysten Ritter), captures him in her magical apartment in New York City and demands that he tell her a new tale every night if he wants to stay alive. Trapped inside with Lenore, the witch’s spiteful cat watching his every move, Alex meets Yasmin (Lidya Jewett), another young prisoner who has learned how to survive the witch’s wicked whims. Socially Distanced Halloween Activities for 2020

Halloween is looking a lot different this year, with social distancing, and a lot of places still having quarantine/limited contact with others.

We usually do a lot of Halloween events. We usually go to Brick or treat at Legoland, and we usually go to a pumpkin patch and several Halloween carnival the week of Halloween.

Unfortunately, a lot of the events we go to aren’t happening this year. Instead, a lot of the groups/organizations that put together carnivals and fun events have instead opted to switch to contact list or drive-through trunk or treat/trick-or-treat events. We haven’t gone to any yet, so I’m not really sure how it’s gonna work but will be going to a bunch this week and weekend. We skipped one that was taking place last Saturday because we did not have our costumes prepared.

Here is a small list of trunk or treat/drive-through events that I have found after a quick search on Facebook. If you have any other events that you would like to add, please leave a comment below with a link to the event page. I love Halloween, as do my kids. Any excuse to dress up, and I know there are so many people out there that look forward to Halloween every year.

I know, I know… We are Denny’s snobs.

The Fine Print: For dine-in orders, kids age 12 & under receive one free Mr. Mummy Pancake between 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. from 10/26/2020 – 10/30/2020 at participating IHOP® locations. Limit one per child.
