March Monthly Side Quest Totals

Quests require compasses and treasure chests, right?Why am I referring to them as “quests” and not “hustle“?

Hustling indicates moving quickly to earn money. This year, I’m doing a little bit every day, approximately 20 minutes on small surveys and small tasks. I may earn less daily, but overall, I can use small tasks to earn more through compounding.

Here are the ways I earned money, and how much I earned on each side quest in March. March was a slow month for side quests. I’ve been working on blog stuff, and then Spring Break!

  • MyPoints: I have earned $20 in Amazon gift cards, mostly from my daily surveys.
  • PaidViewPoint: $10.72 via PayPal
  • Fetch: $10.00 Amazon Gift Card
  • Rebates (WeStock, Peekage, Social Nature, and Aisle ): $6.50 between  Social Nature and Aisle.
  • TPT (I make worksheets/flashcards in my spare time for special ed classrooms). This side quest is definitely a slow trickle of money. I spent a lot of time over the summer making/uploading educational materials to my TPT account. $23.52

PRC is a nationwide research study company. They are always conducting studies and seeking additional respondents. They email me once a week about the online studies they are looking to fill. Research studies are a great way to earn a little extra money, and most of them can be completed from the comfort of your own home, using your computer or laptop.

Topic: Pool Servicing
Who: Adults 18+
Incentive: $250
Length: 30 minutes
When: April 3 – April 6, 2026 | Webcam Interview
Requirements: Proof of occupation will be required.

Incentive: $300 + Filters

A few notes about PRC:

Focus Group Connection – $150 Paid Research Study

Focus Group Connections is a research company located in Southern California. They conduct studies and surveys all over the US.

Focus Group Connection is looking for participants in their upcoming ONLINE research study on the topic of stain removers and cleaning products.

When: April 14th and 15th.

Length: This 90-minute online session offers you a unique opportunity to influence product development.

Incentive: $150 for your valuable contributions.

They have a lot of stuff in South Orange County and less often in San Diego County. Currently, they are conducting an online study regarding shopping.

They are currently conducting a one-on-one online study on online shopping.

Who: respondents between the ages of 18-60 to participate.

Dates: April 2nd, 3rd and 6th (Depending on which day you qualify for)

Method: Online – webcam

Length: 1 hour

Incentive: $125

  • Class action lawsuits (I use SettleMate to help me find ones that I might qualify for): $14.70
  • SBKC: $ 20.00 visa gift card (this was from envelopes that I had mailed back to them in December 2025)
  • Evidation: $10 via Venmo
  • BrandClub:  $10.29
  • TPT (I make worksheets/flashcards in my spare time for special ed classrooms). This side quest is definitely a slow trickle of money. I spent a lot of time over the summer making/uploading educational materials to my TPT account. $42.44.

I can use my Amazon Gift Cards to pay for my monthly subscriptions for two months. I use Amazon subscriptions to buy household items that are cheaper on Amazon than local store prices.

Who: Individuals in the 11th and 12th grade, as well as current College students.

This is an online Focus Group that  pays $150 for 1.5 hours (90 mins)

Q-insights – Faith in America Study $250

They have a lot of stuff in South Orange County and less often in San Diego County. Currently, they are conducting a study regarding Faith in America online.

They are currently conducting two phase study regarding Faith and Spirituality in general.

Who: Respondents between the ages of 25 and 64 years old to participate.

Phase 1: This phase will be online, and it will begin Monday, February 9th. Over the course of 2 months, we will have a series of online journal assignments for you to complete about yourself, your faith, and spirituality in general.  We will post new activities about every week or so, and each activity should take about 15 minutes to complete. This study will focus on your spirituality and things that do or don’t spark your curiosity and interest in this area. The study is meant to be interactive in nature, and our hope and expectation is that you would engage weekly. The platform is available 24/7, and you can complete the activities at any time that is convenient for you.  You will receive $250 for each month ($500 total), but you must complete the whole study in order to be compensated. There will not be half compensation.

Phase 2: Following completion of Phase 1, some participants will be selected to participate in the next phase of the study, which involves a one-on-one interview that will be conducted online the week of April 27th.  The interview would take about 1 hour.  The incentive will be $250.

How to Score Free Gift Cards!

There truly is a National Day for everything. And today is no different, as it is National Use Your Gift Card Day.

A lot of us got Gift Cards for the recent holidays, and maybe you have some stashed. However, if you are looking to earn a few gift cards, here are some of my top tips:

Use Apps like Fetch, Receipt Hog, and Ibotta. My complete list of apps where I earn gift cards is here.

Spending a little bit of your scrolling time each day doing short surveys is how I earn the most gift cards. There is a good list of my favorite survey sites here.

I store my physical gift cards in an Ipsy pouch I got at a clothing swap in my purse. I don’t have tons, but it’s always great to have them on hand in case I go into a store or find myself at a Dairy Queen (there aren’t too many here, and I have had a DQ GC in my purse for a while).
