Fetch Rewards: Cruise into the long weekend with more points!

Load up for the long weeekend.

Labor Day is this coming weekend! A lot of you are planning BBQ’s or family get-togethers, and here are some special offers to help you save money this weekend.

If you haven’t signed up for Fetch Rewards yet, or want to learn more, check out my post here. Find the Fetch Rewards app in your app store, and when you download it and scan any receipt, use my code ND2TB when you sign up and you’ll score 2,000 bonus points. I’ve earned over $250 in rewards in 2021 alone, just by purchasing my regular groceries and scanning in all of my receipts (grocery, mass merchandiser, gas receipts, restaurants, you name it).

It is simple, takes minutes, and the points really rack up!

Monthly Side Hustle Totals August 2021

I decided that at the end of each month in 2021, I’m going to post the breakdown of how much I made doing each side hustle/cashback app. My complete side hustle list can be found here and my complete list of Smartphone Apps can be found here.

I know some of you are curious about how much I make doing all of the hustles that I wrote about, and while I do a year-end update, I know some of you don’t wanna wait till the end of the year and that’s understandable.

Some of the side hustles I do frequently, like using the Fetch Rewards App every time I go shopping.

Some of the hustles are more passive but have cumulative rewards so even though I do them each month, I may not receive a payout each month. It doesn’t make them any less valuable to me, they just take a longer amount of time to earn the reward. Honestly, those are fairly low-time investments, so I don’t feel bad that they take a long time to earn a payout. SBKC and Achievement are two of these.

And some I do in fits and starts. For example, I may not spend a lot of time doing PaidViewPoint surveys for a few weeks, and then I’ll get two or three emails telling me that I have time-sensitive or higher-paying surveys. Then I’ll rush over to the site and do five or 10 surveys and earn five or 10 bucks. It just depends on what’s available at the time.

Some of you might notice from this list that there are a number of research studies, I’ve been trying to do at least 1-2 a month because they tend to pay a lot better than surveys. I have been posting research studies and opportunities on the blog whenever they come across my email. I hope some of you are also applying for them and receiving opportunities to do them too.

August was busy with back-to-school stuff, so I didn’t have time for any research studies, which are usually a large part of the money I make each month. I have been doing a lot of reviews and such but don’t pay cash, but rather pay in-kind (Tryit, InfluensterSocial Nature, and BzzAgent). Each one of those sends a product or samples. In August, I received a new mattress valued at over $500, a new juicer, and skincare valued at $100, all in exchange for a review!

I try not to take the sample only offers because it’s not worth my time to review a bunch of sample size stuff. Especially when I can be working with brands and companies that offer me products that are full-size, or they pay me with cash. Because really, as nice as say five dollar tube of deodorant might be, I can’t really pay my utility bill with it.

  • Fetch Rewards: $50
  • Dosh: $25.62
  • Capterra: $50
  • Ibotta: $33.14
  • Pinecone Research: $12
  • SBKC: $20.00

September 2021: New Month, New Coupons!

file000786402730Here is your monthly reminder!  A new month means new printable and electronic coupons!

The printable coupon market is slowly coming to an end. Smartsource no longer offers printable coupons, and you may notice that there are fewer coupon inserts in your Sunday newspaper. This is in favor of more offers available on apps. But if you love printable coupons….

  • Coupons.com (printable coupons, e-coupons, and a cashback app)

One of my favorite websites is the Sunday Coupon Review.  It helps me plot out scenarios in advance and I can email friends to ask for coupons in advance. Remember if clipping coupons isn’t your thing, but saving money is, check out my list of Smartphone apps that can save you the big bucks! New offers are added on the Smartphone Savings Apps all the time!

September is the end of back-to-school sales and the end of summer sales. Labor Day sales include BBQ foods and grills.

For a complete list of types of foods and items that will be on sale, check out this post on the cycle of sales.

Here are a few of my favorite new coupons:

Save $0.50 on ONE (1) RAGÚ® pasta sauce
Save $0.75 any ONE (1) Dannon Light + Fit® Nonfat Greek Yogurt 4pk
Save $1.00 on ANY TWO (2) EXTRA® Gum Singles Packs (15 ct.)

Dosh and Grocery Outlet- Time to Save!

Y’all know how much I LOVE Grocery Outlet. Tons of great groceries and deals in the store, and they get so many incredible one-time deals. I love shopping at Grocery Outlet because I’ve tried so many new products shopping there.

Right now, Grocery Outlet is sweetening the deal of shopping there. They’ve teamed up with Dosh. Earn $2 in-store cashback on purchases $15 and up when you pay with your Dosh linked card (and remember to run your card as credit).

I shop there once a week and I’ve been earning $2 a pop for the past month or so.

And the nice way to double dip with this deal is to upload your receipt to Fetch Rewards, and a few other apps to earn additional cashback. My complete list of Smartphone savings apps can be found here.

New To Dosh? You can learn all about it here. You can earn cashback shopping in-store or online. I primarily earn cashback on Dosh these days from Office Depot and Round Table Pizza, in addition to Grocery Outlet. We used our Dosh linked card to buy Big Kid a new bed last year and scored 2% cashback, in addition to other sales/deals. Dosh is a great app to double-dip!

(The Dosh Link is my personal link, if you sign up and complete an offer, I may earn a small commission. This money helps me run the site and offer contests and giveaways. You can see my Disclosure  info here.)

Fetch Rewards: End summer 4,000 points richer!

So long, summer & hello 4,000 points. Plus 2,000 points for friends.

Who doesn’t love points? Invite friends & everyone earns big.

Now through 9/3/2021 earn 4,000 points when your friends use your code to sign up for Fetch. Even better? They’ll get 2,000 points of their own. Head to the app to start spreading the word!

Big Points in 3 easy steps. Step one: share your referral code with friends. Step two: friends enter your code and snap a receipt. Step three: points are deposited into your account.

If you haven’t signed up for Fetch Rewards yet, or want to learn more, check out my post here. Find the Fetch Rewards app in your app store, and when you download it and scan any receipt, use my code ND2TB when you sign up and you’ll score 2,000 bonus points. Little Caesar’s Pizza: Free Pizza This Week!

It’s pizza time! We order pizza every Friday. Usually, I go pick it up, but this week, we might spring for delivery, because if we do, we’ll score a free Extramostbestest pizza (that’s a pizza with TONS of pepperoni or TONS of cheese) when I order online through their app and use coupon code EXTRAPIZZA6. This coupon code is good through 8/22/2021.

Heads up for Vons, Pavillions, Albertson’s Shoppers!

As I’m sure you’ve noticed, the app has changed and updated, and our familiar, beloved app is gone. However, in an email earlier this week, it was announced that there are more changes afoot and they are seemingly positive.

Just for U® is becoming Vons for U (or Pavillions, or Albertsons for U, depending on the store in which you shop). Members get the same great perks plus a whole lot more.

New Perks Include Free Birthday Treat, Free Monthly Items, Easy, All-in-one App!

We’ve been assured that our old favorites will remain, such as Personalized Deals, Earn Points and Redeem Rewards, and Digital Coupons.

To tell you the truth, I haven’t been a big Vons/Albertsons shopper for years as their prices are a lot higher than other stores in our area, but with the freebies that have been offered lately, it’s worth a peek into the app (and store).

Let me know what you think about all of these changes. Will it draw you into the store or keep you a loyal shopper?

Earn Gift Cards and Rewards with UpVoice!

In my list of monthly side hustles, I noticed I’m almost ready to cash out on UpVoice, and I wanted to share it with you again in case you haven’t signed up and started earning.

Screen Shot 2019-08-26 at 8.06.04 AM.pngI posted about UpVoice in late 2019 (see my original post here), and for a while, the program was down for some updates, and it’s back! Not only is  UpVoice back, but you can earn points the usual way, you can also earn points for referring your friends and family.

Do you spend time on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Linkedin, and Amazon? If you do, consider joining UpVoice! UpVoice is BrandTotal’s user panel. They use the data that they collect from the UpVoice panel to build special insights for brands on their advertising activities and the ad campaigns of their competitors.
