Even though I’m working summer school this year, pay day is net 30, meaning I won’t receive most of my summer pay until the end of August.  I need a little extra cash to take the kids on fun adventures, and snacks cost money! I try to spend 30 minutes a day doing surveys, usually early in the morning after the cat has demanded her breakfast, before the kids have woken up.  Here are some of my favorite survey companies:

PaidViewPoint– They only send you surveys that you qualify for, so there is no wasted time. Payout is only $15.00, so I make a payout about once a month. It’s not tons of work, and every little bit helps!

Pinecone Research: Get Paid $1-3 per survey!– My favorite survey company. $1-3 per survey you complete and they only send you surveys that you are already pre-qualified for!

Where do I find good, quality freebies?

I’m always on the lookout for good, quality freebies. What I mean by that is items that have value. Not just monetarily, but items that I will use. That can be anything from free food to a brand new washing machine and dryer.

A lot of of the freebie programs I have used in the past are no longer around (Example Tryit berged with Influenster), so those are not included in my list; however, here are some that I use today and recommend to others.

This list does not include rebate apps or anything where there is any sort of out-of-pocket where you are reimbursed later.

JCPenney All-Star advisors: While this program is around, I don’t think they are currently accepting any new members. I couldn’t find any info online about how to sign up or join their waiting list.

Home Tester Club is pretty cool. They are one of my new favorites. You sign up to review items, and they send you something. A lot of the time, they don’t notify you prior to shipping. you’ll get a package in the mail, and a few days later, you’ll get an email notifying you that you were selected and a link to the survey to complete once you have sampled the product. I’ve received all sorts of great skincare, cosmetics, food, and clothing from Home Tester Club.

Tryazon: The kids and I have been participating in Tryazon events for 5-ish years. We’ve gotten to try all sorts of fun toys, games, organizational products, and food.

Influenster: To get all of the products and free stuff offered by Influenster, you have to download the app.  When they send an offer for a free product, you have to jump on it right away. Their offers go fast! I’ve gotten clothing, cosmetics, perfume, and household appliances through Influenster.

Ripple Street: this company rebranded recently and was previously known as House Party. You can learn about them here. 

Smiley360  is a Word of Mouth (WOM) marketing website. Sign up for campaigns and you will receive samples to use, and coupons to share with friends. Report your sharing and earn points! I’ve received Laundry detergent (full-sized bottles), vitamins, supplements, tampons, and razors in the past.

Rebate App Round-Up!

I post about rebate apps a lot. They are one of my favorite ways to try new products.

Paper coupons are seemingly a thing of the past, and apps are where it’s at these days.

Most of them work the same:

  • Select offers that you are interested in and opt in.
  • Visit your local store and purchase the item(s). Most apps/websites will give you a list of stores selling the item(s).
  • Submit the receipt (and sometimes you have to scan the UPC of the product) via the website/app/text message.
  • Funds are usually sent via Venmo or Paypal. If you haven’t signed up for Venmo, check out my post about it here.

I mostly use my Venmo account for rebates. I have a Venmo card to access the funds.

Sometimes savings apps like Ibotta have free after rebate offers. They are usually retailer-specific and only valid for a short amount of time.

It’s Back! Make $10 by writing Software Reviews with G2!

I received an email from G2 this morning! G2 is a peer-to-peer review site. If you are looking to learn about new software before you purchase it, G2 is a great place to look. Right now G2 is offering $10 Amazon gift cards to those who review software that you have used in your business. It’s a quick, easy way to share your opinions of software and earn a little extra.

Plus, once you have reviewed for them, they will contact you when they are looking for more reviews (with incentives). I earn about $30/month from G2 writing reviews. It doesn’t take long, and it gives me a little extra fun money.

My Recent Cash Outs from Cash Back Apps

I’m not earning Benjamins, but every little bit helps.

I’ve been meaning to post this for a few weeks, but I have been recovering from surgery, and trying to take the kids on short adventures.

You guys know how much I love a good cashback app, and here are some of my recent cashouts, and how I’m coming on reaching the payouts on a few more apps.

 

Cashback apps where I have almost reached the threshold for payout: 

  • Ibotta: right now I’m at $23.75
  • Drop: they ran out of gift certificates/rewards so I will try again on Thursday. They release a limited number of each week. Right now I have enough points to cash out $25 worth of rewards. It has taken me almost 2 years. I count this is one of my very passive apps to use.

iSecretShop Opportunity- No Purchase Necessary Earn up to $114!

I received an email from iSecretShop recently, and while I don’t have time for this project, I thought some of you might be interested.

Part of iSecretShop is their scanning project. Currently, They are recruiting for Shopping Scout scan shoppers. Shopping Scout scan shops are available in your area. To get started, they offer a free, one-hour, “New Auditor Certification Session” every Tuesday at 3:30 pm Pacific/4:30 Mountain/5:30 Central/6:30 Eastern. During the session, they go over what is expected during these shops. They also offer a self-guided process if you cannot attend the live presentation. Once you have completed the free course and passed the test, you will become certified, which allows you to request these shops through isecretshop.com

To participate in this covert project, you will scan approximately 1900 SKUs/items at Costco using a free app on your smartphone. Please note that you will need a Costco membership (or another legitimate means of entry) to enter Costco.

Earn Money for Tracking You Steps with Evidation!

Connect your fitness tracker to Evidation and be rewarded when you exercise, sleep, and log calorie or water intake. They also have surveys, short articles, and listicles to check out for bonus points.

It is non-intrusive, and you’ll earn points that can be redeemed for cash via PayPal, or gift cards, or you can donate your earnings to various charities.

I earn about $50 a year with Evidation. It’s a nice little perk for being active.
