Q-insights is another company where I do research groups, focus groups, and online surveys to earn extra money.

They have a lot of stuff in South Orange County, and less often in San Diego County. Right now they are recruiting for a truck study.

Currently they are looking for current owners of 2018 or newer trucks that were purchased or leased new:
Chevrolet Silverado 1500/2500/3500
Ford F150/F250/F350
GMC Sierra 1500/2500/3500
RAM 1500/2500/3500
Toyota Tundra

Please note that you will be asked to share proof of your truck.

These are 90-minute webcam focus groups, held through March 14, with your choice of date/time.
There are absolutely no sales involved, and you would not be added to any sales/marketing lists due to your participation. This is strictly for research purposes only.

In appreciation for your time, you would be compensated with a $200 VISA gift card.

Rebate App Round-Up!

I post about rebate apps a lot. They are one of my favorite ways to try new products.

Paper coupons are seemingly a thing of the past, and apps are where it’s at these days.

Most of them work the same:

Select offers that you are interested in and opt in.
Visit your local store and purchase the item(s). Most apps/websites will give you a list of stores selling the item(s).
Submit the receipt (and sometimes you have to scan the UPC of the product) via the website/app/text message.
Funds are usually sent via Venmo or Paypal. If you haven’t signed up for Venmo, check out my post about it here.

I mostly use my Venmo account for rebates. I have a Venmo card to access the funds.

Here are a few of my favorite rebate apps:

Sometimes savings apps like Ibotta have free after rebate offers. They are usually retailer-specific and only valid for a short amount of time.
