We’ve got less than 30 school days left, and the kids are already asking what we’re doing this summer.
In the past I’ve written posts about free stuff to do in San Diego over the summer, and I’ll have one up later this week, but Tweens and Tweens sometimes are “too big/too cool” for the splashpads at parks, or don’t want to go to the library for craft events.
I headed over to Groupon this morning to see what I could find that might appeal to my posse.
- Bowling Deals at Lucky Strike Lanes. My kids love to bowl, and now. the big one has ages out of Kids Bowl Free, we’re looking to find some new lanes to conquer.
- The Rage Rooms– Breaking stuff always sounds fun, right? I tossed this idea out to the kids, and both of them were really excited about breaking stuff.
- Birch Aquarium– I’m probably more excited about seeing the Fairy Penguins than the kids are.
- Chuck E. Cheese– Ok, even though my kids are bigger, they still love ski-ball and pizza. Who doesn’t?
- Axe Throwing- Another things my kids like to do. They’ve thrown axes before, and they have excellent aim! Here is another Axe throwing offer.
If you are looking for different activities, new restaurants to try, or maybe even a massage, check out Groupon. They have all sorts of cool deals available!
